David Burga, P.Geo. - President

David Burga is a P.Geo. and Qualified Person under NI 43-101 regulations. He received his Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Toronto in 1997 and has worked in mining exploration as well as on environmental and hydrogeological projects since that time.

Gerhard Jacob, MSc. P.Geo. - Senior Geologist

Gerhard Jacob is a passionate geologist with strong leadership skills combined with business acumen. Expertise in executing exploration, operational and production programs in remote field environments for various commodities.

Prospectors

Deptford is partnered with lifelong prospectors who have worked on a variety geological projects. They have experience cutting lines, staking claims and supporting exploration projects from grass roots to drilling programs.

Select Project Experience Highlights

Deptford audited EGM’s drill hole database, Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve models for their Mina San Ramon project in Medellin to ensure they were compliant with NI 43-101 regulations.

Deptford prepared an updated corporate presentation and promotional posters for the Kenbridge Nickel Project in the Kenora area. David is a geological advisor to Tartisan.

David is a director for Total Metals. Deptford is currently planning a summer exploration plan for their flagship Electrolode project.

Total Metals

Lithium Argentina’s Cauchari Project in Argentina features the world’s largest NI 43-101 compliant lithium brine Mineral Resource in the world. Deptford Geoscience was the lead consultant on the updated 2026 NI 43-101 and S-K 1300 Technical Reports. Deptford coordinated the efforts with hydrogeologists, environmental scientists and engineers. David has been involved with the Cauchari project since 2017 and Deptford Geoscience took over the management of the technical reports in 2025.

Lithium Argentina

Abra Silver

Deptford audited QA/QC procedures and the review of the Diabillos project database to evaluate its suitability for use in a NI 43-101 report.

Imagine Lithium

Deptford planned and executed a reconnaissance exploration program to investigate lake sediment anomalies south of Barbara Lake. David was the senior geologist on the winter, summer and fall drill programs on the Jackpot Property north of Nipigon. He monitored NQ and HQ rigs drilling for spodumene bearing pegmatites.

Gathering Lake Lithium Project

Deptford personnel planned, managed and carried out the field work for the initial reconnaissance exploration program for this lithium prospect in the Geraldton/Gathering Lake area. The program consisted of surface mapping and sampling, channel sampling and biogeochemical sampling. This project is available for option or sale, contact us for details.

United Lithium

Barbara Lake Project – David was the project manager for the Barbara Lake Lithium Project. He planned the initial reconnaissance exploration program in the autumn of 2022 and the Deptford team carried out field work which included field mapping and channel sampling.

Class 1 Nickel

Alexo-Dundonald Project – David managed a portion of the 2021 drill program and the Deptford team carried out support work logging, cutting and photographing core as well as doing geotech work. Class 1 used the Deptford logging facility in Connaught for the project and Deptford helped build the core storage facility on the project site.
